Englishness is,
Taking tea, and chatting about the weather,
Living on an Island,
Learning to have manners, and being awfully nice,

English is,
All about queuing, losing,
Warm beer, and Fish 'n 'Chips,
Ascot, Henley and Wimbledon, 

English is,
An old maid on a bike ,peddling with common prayer,
Singing out songs of Ancient and modern,
Having waged her War, 
Between strawberry fields,
And potting for the Women's Institute.
