The Dordogne,
A Journey taken,
Is a picture,
Dreaming,
Sun Rise,
Sun Set,
Over Roof Top,,
Angel like,
Castle Crest ,
Heights,
Hang,
Cling,
To Window Box,
Colour,
Under a blue, blue Heaven.
 
A Bell it Tolls,
A Priest is seen,
He Scuttles,
           Way,
 
The River She is slow,
Slow are those who travel their River,
Meandering,
Meandering,
Past and between,
Children at Play,
The language,
is Foreign,
At least to my English Ears,
French I  believe,
 
A Table is Cleared,
And another is Set,
When the Bell Tolls
Tolls again,
People to Prayer,
For deep is the  Wine,
The Blood Red Wine,
Slow is the River,
 
For the River is slow,
Slow is the River,
When in Time,
She Passes,
Meandering,
Meandering ,
Like the Summer breeze ,Time She flows,
